VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Administrative Assistant

Location: Blantyre

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate must possess a Diploma in Business Administration from a reputable, recognized institution and demonstrate a strong, proven track record of administrative excellence.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage calendars, appointments, and comprehensive meeting schedules.
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, and official travel arrangements.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing emails, phone calls, and official corporate correspondence.
  • Maintain physical and electronic filing systems and systematically manage office supplies inventory.
  • Prepare, edit, and expertly format documents, presentations, and technical reports.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Partner effectively with other departments and schools to ensure seamless, efficient communication across the secretariat.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience as an administrative assistant, office assistant, or in a similar professional role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and standard office management software.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
