VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT 

ASSISTANT STORE KEEPER:       1 POSITION

Sable Farming Company Limited invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Assistant Store Keeper.

Reporting to: Store Keeper

KEY DUTIES

• Receiving, checking and issuing stores and agricultural inputs.
• Maintaining bin cards, stock registers and inventory records.
• Posting stock receipts and issues in the system.
• Preparing purchase requisitions.
• Monitoring stock levels and replenishment requirements.
• Identifying slow-moving, damaged and obsolete stock.
• Conducting stock-taking and stock reconciliations.
• Maintaining proper custody, arrangement and security of stores.
• Controlling and accounting for authorised petty cash transactions.
• Preparing stores reports and maintaining proper documentation.
• Performing other related duties as assigned by the Store Keeper.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent.
• Diploma in Purchasing and Supply, Logistics, Stores Management or a related field will be an added advantage.
• At least 2 years’ hands-on experience in a similar position, preferably in an estate or agricultural environment.
• Good computer and stock management skills.
• Good record-keeping, numerical and organisational skills.
• High integrity, reliability and accountability.
