Job Overview

The Community Facilitators will support community-based health programs, climate resilience initiatives, and health promotion activities in Chikwawa.

The Role

• Conduct community sensitization on health, hygiene, and climate-related risks

• Support household visits, follow-ups, and referrals

• Collect and report community health data

• Collaborate with local leaders and community structures

• Promote preventive health practices and resilience strategies

Duty Stations

• Chikwawa District Hospital (1)

• Nchalo – Hunger Health Centre (1)

• Matawale Health Centre (1)

Qualifications and Skills

Education

• Certificate or Diploma in Community Health, Public Health Nursing, or related field

Experience

• Experience in community-based programs is an added advantage

Skills

• Strong passion for community development and public health

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work within communities and local structures
