Are you ready to make a meaningful impact where clean energy meets community and safety? JCM, a leading renewable energy IPP, is looking for a Health & Safety Officer to work on our Golomoti Solar PV and BESS project in Golomoti, Malawi.

With a growing portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy projects across Asia and Africa, JCM offers the opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring safe, compliant, and responsible operations on the ground. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing health and safety practices across the Golomoti site, fostering a strong safety culture, and ensuring our operations meet both local and international H&S standards.

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Golomoti, Dedza District, Malawi

The role includes:

• Implementing safety policies and procedures
• Training employees on safety practices
• Identifying hazards and managing risks
• Investigating accidents and incidents
• Ensuring proper use of PPE
• Handling emergency response and reporting

Requirements:

• Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
• At least 5 years experience
• Good communication skills
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Valid driver’s license (Code B)
