Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) is a statutory body with mandate to develop, promote, encourage and control all forms of sport in the country.

In order to fulfill its mandate, MNCS invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill various vacant positions as follows:

ICT Officer

Grade: CS5

Reporting to: Director of Human Resources and Administration

Position function:

To maintain effective and efficient ICT systems to support delivery of MNCS’s mandate

Main duties

1. Assessing and advising on ICT resource requirements
2. Providing maintenance services of computer hardware and software
3. Training and coaching ICT users
4. Designing computer systems and developing programs for effective and efficient operations of MNCS
5. Administration of Council’s electronic communication channels
6. Managing Council’s network installations and software upgrades

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science
• 4 years post qualification experience;
• Excellent Presentation skills
