Mount Meru Millers Malawi Limited, a leading FMCG and agribusiness company, is looking for a dynamic and qualified candidate to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate injection moulding operators in the production of plastic buckets
• Monitor machine operations and ensure optimal machine performance
• Set and adjust machine parameters including temperature, pressure, speed, and cycle times
• Ensure production targets, efficiency, and quality standards are achieved
• Conduct regular checks on finished products and ensure compliance with specifications
• Troubleshoot machine and process issues and coordinate with maintenance teams
• Plan production schedules and allocate manpower effectively
• Train and guide operators on machine operation, safety, and quality requirements
• Monitor raw material usage and minimize production waste
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and shift handovers
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma/Certificate in Plastics Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in injection moulding operations, preferably in plastic bucket/container manufacturing
• Experience supervising injection moulding machines and production teams
• Good knowledge of mould setting, machine troubleshooting, and quality control
• Ability to work shifts and manage a production environment
