Position: Prestige – Relationship Manager

Location: Lilongwe, Malawi

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Prestige, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a professional, consistent, efficient, and flexible fast service whilst collaborating with other segments to drive business growth across the value chains.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Prestige – Relationship Manager tenable at Lilongwe.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients
• Retain existing customers and attract new clients to grow the Prestige and Premier banking portfolios
• Act as the primary point of contact, providing a relationship banking-style approach
• Provide client support and retention
• Offer advice on lending and other tailored solutions to meet client needs
• Proactively identify revenue avenues by understanding client financial behaviours and needs
• Maximize cross-selling opportunities for various bank products and services
• Manage client portfolios and ensure seamless service delivery
• Ensure adherence to all relevant risk, compliance, and governance requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Attention to detail with excellent research and problem-solving attributes
• Self-starter and mature
• High level of professionalism, assertive, self-motivated, and sense of urgency

Qualifications and Requirements

• Qualification from a recognized institution
• At least 2 years' experience in relationship management or marketing and selling
