Kindle Orphan Outreach is a local Christian, charitable, non-denominational, non-profit, non-government organization established in Malawi in 2000 and registered as a Trust in 2002. Kindle is motivated by the desire to bring the light of Christ’s hope to vulnerable communities. Kindle works with vulnerable communities to promote resilience and self-reliance so that they become productive members of the society. Kindle’s strategy lies in four main areas (Health, Education, Spiritual impact and Community Development) which overlap and work together. We are seeking for a passionate, qualified, and results-oriented individual to fill the following position:
Programs Manager
Location: Salima-Nanjoka
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the organization’s social enterprise initiatives.
- Develop business strategies to improve sustainability and revenue generation.
- Build partnerships with stakeholders, clients, and investors.
- Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and reporting.
- Identify new market opportunities and growth areas.
- Ensure alignment between enterprise activities and social impact goals.
- Plan, implement, and monitor organizational programs and projects.
- Coordinate program activities and ensure timely delivery of objectives.
- Manage relationships with partners, donors, and community stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, budgets, and work plans.
- Work hand in hand with Monitoring, evaluation, and learning Officer
- Supervise program staff and consultants where necessary.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Project Management, Development Studies, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, social enterprise management, or program management.
- Strong leadership, financial management, and communication skills.
- Experience working in community-based or non- profit environments is an added advantage.
- Experience managing farms with diverse agricultural activities and ventures will be highly desirable.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Experience in donor-funded projects is an added advantage.
