Kyura Innovations Limited is looking for a versatile Full Stack Software Developer to take ownership of our entire digital ecosystem. In this role, you will not only build our web platform but also architect and maintain our mobile applications. We value minimalism and intuitive design over complex code. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our products ranging from designing scalable database architectures and back-end logic to crafting pixel perfect user interfaces for both desktop and mobile screens. KEY REQUIREMENTS

Web & Mobile Development:

• Front-End (Web): Proficiency in JavaScript and modern frameworks/libraries such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Mobile (Cross-Platform): Proven experience building and deploying production-grade mobile apps using React Native or Flutter.
• Back-End: Strong experience with server-side languages such as Python (Django/Flask), Node.js (Express), Java (Spring Boot), or C# (.NET Core).
• Databases: Experience designing relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases, with a strong grasp of data synchronization between multiple clients.

System Integration & Payments:

• Proven experience integrating with third-party REST/SOAP APIs and building middleware for system-to-system communication.
• Hands-on experience integrating payment gateways including handling webhooks, refunds, and subscription management.

QR Technology:

• Proven experience working with QR code generation libraries AND real-world experience using device cameras for QR scanning. Familiarity with WebRTC and native camera permissions.

UI/UX & Design Philosophy:

• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processors (SASS/LESS).
• Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD) to interpret design systems accurately.
• Ability to write clean, semantic code that aligns with accessibility standards (WCAG).

Soft Skills:

• Problem Solving: Ability to break down complex requirements into manageable tasks.
• Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-Management: Comfortable working autonomously in an agile environment.
• Testing: Experience writing unit tests (Jest, PyTest, JUnit) and integration tests to ensure stable releases across web and mobile.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or Jenkins) specifically for automating mobile app builds and deployments to App Store/Play Store.
• Experience with WebSockets for real-time data sync between web, mobile, and back-end.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full Lifecycle Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for web applications, as well as cross-platform mobile applications (iOS/Android).
• System & Payment Integration: Architect and implement robust integrations with third-party systems, CRMs, and external APIs. Specifically, design and maintain secure payment gateway integrations (to handle subscriptions, transactions, and financial data securely).
• Database Architecture: Design scalable, and easy-to-use database schemas (SQL and NoSQL) that ensure data integrity, high performance, and seamless synchronization between web and mobile clients.
• UI/UX Implementation: Translate wireframes and design mockups into responsive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces.
• QR Code Ecosystem: Architect and implement features that generate, dynamically read, and manage QR codes. Comfortable working with WebRTC for web-based scanning and native camera APIs for mobile.
• API Development: Develop and consume secure RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL) to connect the front-end, mobile clients, and third-party services with our core back-end logic.
• Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and resolve these issues across lower-powered mobile devices and high-speed desktop environments.
• Security & Compliance: Implement essential security measures (encryption, tokenization, PCI-DSS awareness) to protect user data, payment information, and prevent common vulnerabilities.
