TEAM LEAD – BLANTYRE

MicroInsurance Ltd is an inclusive insurance underwriter committed to providing comprehensive risk protection to underserved communities across Malawi. We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to guide our Blantyre team of Business Development Officers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor, and supervise a team of 3 Business Development Officers.
• Drive business development initiatives and ensure team targets are met.
• Analyze market trends and performance data to identify strategic opportunities.
• Oversee client relationship management and key account development.
• Ensure team alignment with company goals, processes, and compliance standards.
• Uphold and promote the company’s Christian principles, mission, and values.

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance, or any related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Insurance Sales and Business Development.
• Proven experience in team leadership or supervision.
• Strong understanding of general insurance products and the Malawi market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to train, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
