OVERVIEW

People Over Politics Foundation (PoPF) invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following positions in Malawi.

The foundation is seeking dedicated professionals with the relevant qualifications, experience, and skills to contribute to its organisational leadership, programme implementation, financial management, and administrative operations.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

1. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Reports to: Board of Trustees

Key Requirements

• A Master’s degree in International Development, Development Studies, Strategic Management, Education, Project Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• At least eight (8) years of experience working with an NGO at senior management level.
• A valid Class driver's licence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

2. PROGRAM MANAGER

Reports to: Executive Director

Key Requirements

• A Master’s degree in a relevant or similar field.
• At least five (5) years of management-level experience in an NGO.
• A proven track record of managing donor-funded projects.
• A valid Class driver's licence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

3. FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Reports to: Executive Director

Key Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• A professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA or CIMA, will be an added advantage.
• At least five (5) years of management experience in an NGO.
• A proven track record of managing donor funds and grants.
• Knowledge of accounting packages.
• A valid Class driver's licence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

4. RECEPTIONIST AND OFFICE ASSISTANT

Reports to: Finance and Administration Manager

Key Requirements

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), with a credit in English.
• A diploma in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a similar position.
