We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Beekeeping Specialist to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate beekeeping trainings for farmers, cooperatives, NGOs, schools, and community groups
- Provide technical support on apiary establishment and management
- Conduct hive inspections and provide advisory services to clients
- Support colony establishment and hive management activities
- Assist in developing training materials and technical resources
- Prepare activity reports and training documentation
- Support implementation of community-based beekeeping projects
- Promote sustainable beekeeping practices and environmental conservation
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Forestry, Forestry and Natural Resources Management, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or a related field
- At least one (1) year practical experience facilitating beekeeping trainings
- Demonstrated knowledge of beekeeping principles, hive management, and honey production
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
