Mount Meru Millers Malawi Limited, a leading FMCG and agribusiness company, is looking for a dynamic and qualified candidate to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment
• Monitor and maintain motors, control panels, PLC systems, instrumentation, transformers, and power distribution systems
• Support production operations by minimizing electrical downtime and improving equipment efficiency
• Implement electrical safety standards and ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements
• Participate in installation, commissioning, and upgrading of electrical systems
• Work closely with mechanical, production, and engineering teams to improve plant performance

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Registered with relevant engineering professional body
• Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Experience in food processing, oil milling, soap manufacturing, or similar industries will be an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, automation, and instrumentation
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
