OVERVIEW
Andiamo Youth Cooperative Trust (AYCT), through its Pathway Centre in partnership with Be That Girl Foundation, is seeking a qualified and passionate Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy Coach to deliver entrepreneurship, financial capability, enterprise development, and career readiness programmes for young women.
The successful candidate will facilitate practical learning sessions, provide individual and group coaching, and support participants in developing entrepreneurial mindsets, financial confidence, and workplace readiness to successfully transition into employment, entrepreneurship, further education, or vocational training.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Entrepreneurship & Enterprise Development
- Facilitate practical learning sessions on entrepreneurship, enterprise development, innovation, business idea generation, business planning, marketing, customer service, and business operations.
- Support participants to identify viable business opportunities and develop sustainable business models.
- Guide participants in preparing business plans, enterprise action plans, business pitches, and other entrepreneurship tools.
- Foster creativity, innovation, opportunity identification, and entrepreneurial thinking through experiential learning approaches.
- Provide individual and group coaching to support participants in achieving their education, employment, and entrepreneurship goals.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants should possess:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience delivering entrepreneurship training, enterprise development, financial literacy, business advisory services, or livelihood programmes.
- Practical experience in entrepreneurship, business development, financial management, or supporting small and growing enterprises will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with youth, women, or community development programmes.
- Experience providing coaching, mentoring, or business advisory support to individuals or groups.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chichewa.
