Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate, timely and insightful management reporting in a standardised format, done monthly for management reports, quarterly for estimates and annually for budget & strategic planning.
  • Prepare cost dashboards to track costs and financial key performance indicators.
  • Attend monthly meetings with relevant budget holders and ensure that costs are controlled within budget.
  • Review phasing of all budgets versus actual expenditure and assist budget holders with queries.
  • Liaise with budget holders with regards to estimates, other changes and ensure major variances are investigated and support appropriate corrective actions within Illovo to get back on track.
  • Prepare and distribute cost reports, interrogate key cost to transaction level detail, reallocate incorrect costs posting & identify potential for improvements or efficiencies.
  • Adhering to Illovo's procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC)

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Accountancy, Business Administration, or Equivalent with applied skills level passed for ACCA or CIMA)
  • Minimum 3–5 years working experience in Finance environment
  • Good business analysis skills to generate business insight, add measurable value
  • Exceptional accounting and reporting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
