OVERVIEW

Shopwise is hiring a Fresh Foods Manager to maintain, continuously improve, implement and monitor all processes, procedures and policies that ensures the availability and adherence to the hygiene standards of quality fresh products (deli, bakery, fruit and vegetables, flowers and fish) in the perishables sections within the targeted profitability margins.

POSITION: FRESH FOODS MANAGER

JOB TYPE: Full Time

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 or equivalent (essential).
• Retail management diploma (desirable).
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a fresh foods, perishables, or supermarket environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience in fresh produce stock handling, processing, merchandising, and stock management.
• Knowledge of FMCG operations, food safety, health & safety, and fresh/perishable produce management.
• Experience with retail ordering systems and basic MS Office.
• Good customer service, interpersonal, communication, coaching, and team leadership skills.
• Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and workplace processes.
