VACANCY ADVERTISEMENT

POSITION: INSURANCE SERVICES OFFICER – LIFE AND GENERAL

Job Purpose

The Insurance Services Officer – Life and General will be responsible for supporting insurance operations through sales, underwriting support, claims processing, policy administration, customer service, and client account management for both life and general insurance products.

 

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Sales and Business Development

  • Market and sell life and general insurance products.
  • Identify and recruit new clients while maintaining existing customer relationships.
  • Prepare quotations and follow up on business opportunities.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets.

 

Underwriting and Policy Administration

  • Process insurance applications and policy documentation.
  • Open and maintain client accounts and records.
  • Support underwriting processes in line with company policies.
  • Process renewals, endorsements, and premium follow-ups.

 

Claims Management

  • Receive and process insurance claims.
  • Guide clients on claims procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Follow up on claims settlements and maintain proper records.

 

Customer Service and Compliance

  • Respond to client inquiries and provide professional customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and insurance regulations.
  • Prepare periodic operational and sales reports.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Advanced Diploma or Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Three years’ work experience in life and general insurance operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer service, and computer skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and local languages.
