About Kameza Private Clinic

Kameza Private Clinic is a wholly owned health service enterprise of MACRO established to provide affordable, high-quality healthcare services to the public while contributing to the organization’s long-term sustainability. The Clinic delivers a range of clinical, laboratory, and diagnostic services and serves as part of MACRO’s resource mobilization and social enterprise strategy to support its mission of improving the health and wellbeing of Malawians. The role of Market and Sales assistant is to bridge promotional outreach and direct selling to assist MACRO grow and enhance its revenue.

Job Title: Marketing and Sales Assistant

Reports to: Clinic Incharge

Location: Blantyre

About the Role

The Marketing & Sales Assistant will be responsible for identifying potential clients, promoting MACRO Private Clinic services, other business ventures, establishing relationships with businesses and institutions, and converting prospective clients into paying customers.

Key Duties

1. Marketing and Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the client base.
• Promote the organization’s products/services within assigned markets and territories.

2. Sales and Client Follow-up

• Conduct sales visits and follow up on leads to close sales.
• Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

3. Reporting and Accountability

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales and marketing activity reports.
• Maintain proper records of client interactions, sales, and field visits.

4. Motorbike and Field Operations

• Ride a motorbike to conduct field visits, client meetings, and market activities.
• Ensure the assigned motorbike is properly maintained and used responsibly.

Education Qualifications 

• Minimum qualification of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE); a certificate or diploma in Marketing, Sales, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Hold a valid motorcycle riding licence recognized in Malawi.
• Be an experienced and competent motorcycle rider.
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, business development, or customer acquisition.
• Experience in marketing healthcare or other professional services will be an added advantage.
