Mudi SACCO LTD is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant positions.

POSITION 1: COLLECTIONS OFFICER (COMMISSION BASED)

Location: Lilongwe, Mzuzu, Nsanje, Zomba, Chikwawa (Kasinthula)

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• MSCE & Higher.
• Residents of the said districts have an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure timely recovery of overdue loans.
• Maintain a healthy loan portfolio in line with Mudi SACCO's credit policy.
• Consistent follow-up on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiation of repayment plans.
• Effective member engagement to minimize default risk.

POSITION 2: SALES REPRESENTATIVE (COMMISSION BASED)

Location: Lilongwe, Mzuzu, Nsanje, Zomba, Chikwawa (Kasinthula)

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• MSCE & Higher.
• Residents of the said districts have an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Membership recruitment for the SACCO.

POSITION 3: RISK & COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Location: Blantyre (Head Office)

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or any related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Risk & Compliance, operations risk, etc. in the financial services sector.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Sound independent judgment.
• High performance attitude, resilience, honesty and high integrity.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement the risk and compliance framework across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential risk.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Review and update the organization's risk and compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide regular reports on risk and compliance issues to senior management and the board of directors.

• Conduct compliance training for staff and management.

POSITION 4: MZUZU BRANCH MANAGER

Location: Mzuzu

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
• A proven track record of leadership and team management.
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry and market trends.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the operations of the Mzuzu Branch to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch targets and improve overall branch performance.
• Manage, mentor, and motivate the branch staff to maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and the community.
• Oversee financial management, budgeting, and reporting for the branch.
