OVERVIEW

Ontario Printers is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions.



POSITION 1: FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Friendly, professional and presentable.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Previous front-desk or customer-service experience is an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome and attend to customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Receive customer enquiries and provide accurate information about our services.
  • Receive and record customer orders and ensure details are captured correctly.
  • Communicate with customers regarding job progress, quotations and collections.
  • Handle phone calls, messages and general customer enquiries.
  • Receive payments and issue appropriate records/receipts where required.
  • Maintain proper records of customer orders and transactions.
  • Coordinate with the graphic design and production team to ensure orders are completed correctly and on time.
  • Keep the reception/front-desk area clean, organised and professional.
  • Handle customer concerns politely and escalate issues when necessary.



POSITION 2: GRAPHIC DESIGNER & MACHINE OPERATOR

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be highly knowledgeable in CorelDRAW.
  • Strong graphic design and printing skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be willing to sometimes work during odd hours.
  • Experience in printing and operating machines is an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create professional designs for printing, branding, advertising and promotional materials.
  • Design artwork for T-shirts, banners, stickers, labels, business cards and other print products.
  • Prepare and format artwork for printing using CorelDRAW.
  • Operate printing and finishing machines safely and efficiently.
  • Check artwork and printed materials for quality and accuracy.
  • Make necessary adjustments to designs, colours, sizes and layouts.
  • Assist with machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organised.
  • Meet customer requirements and complete jobs within agreed deadlines.
  • Maintain high standards of creativity, accuracy and print quality.
