OVERVIEW

Woodlands Hotel & Resort is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following positions.

POSITION 1: CHEF

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Must be residing in or near the City Centre, Lilongwe.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Chef, preferably within a reputable hotel, restaurant, or hospitality establishment.
• Must possess a valid National ID.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to prepare a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

POSITION 2: RECEPTIONIST

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Must be residing in or near the City Centre, Lilongwe.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Receptionist, preferably within a reputable hotel or hospitality establishment.
• Must possess a valid National ID.
• Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Excel.
• Must have knowledge of Hotel Master.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and a welcoming personality.
• Good telephone and computer skills.
• Ability to handle guest enquiries, reservations, check-ins, and check-outs professionally.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
