SECURITY OFFICERS (x4)

Caire Macs Ltd is a fast-growing agriculture enterprise with active investments in Macadamia, Dairy, Layers and Piggery. Located at Nakwawa Trading Centre in Lilongwe, the vision is to become one of the most successful companies in Malawi. In order to support our ambitious growth trajectory, we are looking for experienced, reliable and ambitious Security Officers to champion implementation of our security strategy to ensure all corporate property, livestock, poultry, and macadamia trees are safeguarded at all times. The ideal candidates must be honest, disciplined and comfortable working

in a rural business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Managing Director, key roles for the Security Officers are:

1. Risk assessments and profiling. Detailed analysis of security risks affecting the business, categorized and ranked according to their impact levels – medium and high risks to be resolved with utmost urgency.
2. Resolves security observations and actionable risks. Action points from risk assessments and security breaches are implemented timely in line with business requirements.
3. Safeguards business environment. Security Officers ensure there exist established protocols for accessing business premises, enforcing bio-security and preventing unauthorized use of assets. Records all visitations, attendance and traffic entering/leaving the premises to ensure full control and implementation of approvals to access the business premises.
4. Reporting. Daily, weekly and monthly reports are developed and submitted to the Managing Director in line with job descriptions and business needs.
5. Performance Management. Ensures that security targets are set and tracks implementation against plans on a daily basis. Results are analyzed, observations and action points submitted to the Managing Director.
6. Team Performance. Supports team members and the business in ways necessary to achieve business goals.

Minimum Qualifications

1. MSCE, a Diploma in Security Studies will have added advantage.
2. 2+ years’ experience as a Security Officer, Farm experience is an advantage.
3. Physically fit and able to work on night shifts.
4. Able to communicate in fluent English.
