OVERVIEW

Our client in the hospitality and events sector is seeking a creative, passionate, and self-driven Social Media & Marketing Officer to build its digital presence and showcase a premium events destination through compelling storytelling and strategic marketing. This role is ideal for someone who can create engaging content, grow online communities, and develop marketing campaigns that attract weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
• Creating engaging photo and video content.
• Planning and maintaining a content calendar.
• Responding to customer enquiries.
• Growing online engagement.
• Developing marketing campaigns.
• Coordinating photoshoots and promotional activities.
• Building partnerships with event organizers and creatives.
• Monitoring campaign performance.
• Staying up to date with social media trends.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Experience managing social media for a business or brand.
• Excellent photography, videography, and mobile content creation skills.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, or similar content creation tools.
• Creative, organized, and able to work independently.
• Passion for hospitality, events, and digital storytelling.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and spoken Chichewa.

WHAT IS OFFERED

• MWK 250,000 Gross monthly salary.
• Flexible Online working arrangement.
• Transport will be provided for all days when doing Content creation.
