Land Resource Center Trust (LRCT) is looking for well qualified and experienced persons to fill the following vacant positions:

TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE

Qualifications and Experience

Qualified candidate must be a holder of a Degree in Forestry/Agroforestry, Natural Resource Management or any ther related field with a minimum of five years experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate shall be responsible for:

• Tree identification and propagation
• Providing technical support to clients and users of RCT on establishing and managing different practices and technologies
• Maintaining an up to date inventory of seed in stock and distribution to partners by species.
• Formal and informal training to trainers, extension staff and farmers in nursery management, seed collection/handling. agroforestry practices and small scale irrigation technologies.
• Conducting seed collection and processing for proper storage in the cold room facilities of the RCT.
• Conducting propagation experiments and seed germination tests.
