Job Description
OVERVIEW
A Construction company based in Lilongwe is looking for the services of a Bidding Assistant.
Key Responsibility
Managing the end-to-end process of submitting proposals for contracts, ensuring they are compliant, competitive, and submitted on time.
Other Duties
Actively seeking relevant tenders through public and private platforms, analyzing opportunities to ensure they align with company goals.
Ensuring all bids fully comply with client specifications, legal regulations, and industry standards.
Finalizing, binding, sealing, and submitting tender documents as per Client requirement.
Maintaining a database of standard information, including company profiles, case studies, and previous successful submissions.
Attending pre-bid meetings and site visits.
Key Skills Required:
Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for creating compelling proposals.
Project Management: Ability to manage deadlines and coordinate teams.
Tools: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and e-GP portals.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex tender documents and financial figures.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
A Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Marketing
IT proficiency;
At least 1 years’ experience in a busy office.
