OVERVIEW

Liwiro Finance Limited, a duly licensed non-deposit taking microfinance institution regulated by the Reserve Bank of Malawi, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Direct Sales Officer – Civil Servant Loan Product.

The successful candidates will be responsible for identifying and recruiting eligible civil servants, processing loan applications, promoting government payroll loan products, and achieving customer acquisition and loan disbursement targets while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with company policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct marketing campaigns and recruit new customers within the assigned district.
• Identify potential clients and assist them in completing online loan application forms and related documents.
• Promote Government Payroll Loans to civil servants and raise awareness of company products.
• Act as a liaison between Liwiro Finance Limited and civil servants throughout the loan application process.
• Compile and submit loan application documents through the online system.
• Research market trends and competitor activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
• Diploma or newly graduated candidates in Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field will have an added advantage.
• Experience in a financial institution and knowledge of PSM and affordability checking will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• High level of confidence and self-motivation.
• Must be a Malawian citizen residing in either Nsanje, Ntchisi, Mzuzu, or Nkhata Bay.
• Applicants must have a smartphone and a valid National ID.
