2. Assistant Quality Control Inspector.

Flowtech Limited, a leading manufacturer of PVC pipes and fittings, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions at its factory at Chirimba Industrial Area in Blantyre:

1) ELECTRICIAN

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns reported from production.

Install, maintain, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment.

Inspect and test components of the electrical system, including switchgear.

Complete work orders within the targeted timeframe and record material usage.

Prepare spare requisitions (with Maintenance Manager approval) to access spares from the engineering store.

Execute preventive maintenance activities as advised by the Maintenance Manager and report any findings.

Prepare and maintain daily reports, checklists, energy meter logs, and breakdown records.

Ensure electrical safety in the working area at all times.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Requirements:

Grade 1 Certificate in Electrical Trade / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics (or equivalent).

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a PVC pipe manufacturing company.

Hands-on experience in electronic testing and PCB repair will be an added advantage

Age: 24 to 32 years

2) ASSISTANT QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, verify or test production at various stages with set QMS procedures and guidelines.

Maintain records of the evidence of satisfactory performance of quality control activity.

Responsible for the safe handling and maintenance of monitoring and measuring devices.

Inspect in line production of all machines as per job cards and standards every hour.

Inspect quality of socketing, fittings, chamfering etc.

Train & guide production staff to inspect production in various stages.

Monitor quality of printing on production.

Requirements:

Possession of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)

Aged between 25 – 30 years.

At least 3 years’ experience in PVC-U pipe testing and inspection

Must be good at handling of testing eguipments.

Must be computer literate.
