VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
OFFICE ASSISTANT
Yathu SACCO is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals to fill the position of Office Assistant in our Lilongwe office.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Filing office documents in proper date order.
- Collection and delivery of mails and documents for signing from one office to another.
- Preparing requisitions for office supplies and assisting in procurement of office materials.
- Maintaining office cleanliness and ensuring office items are kept in their proper places.
- Assisting members with form filling and providing guidance where necessary.
- Responding to enquiries from members and visitors professionally and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Preparing and serving tea to staff members.
- Performing computer data entry and capturing duties.
- Assisting in updating deposits, shares, and loan records in ledgers and passbooks.
- Maintaining the staff timebook and ensuring all employees sign for attendance.
- Ensuring safe custody of office files and utensils.
- Assisting in the preparation of death claims documentation.
- Performing any other duties assigned from time to time.

Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Honest, hardworking, and trustworthy.
