Anglican Diocese of Southern Malawi is seeking highly organized and detail-oriented individuals to fill various positions at Mindanti. Mindanti Health Centre is a Christian health institution located in lower shire, Chapananga, Chikwawa, Malawi. The clinic is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare services to the community. Available Positions & Key Requirements

1.  Chief Clinical Technician (Grade I)

Duties: Diagnosing patients, prescribing treatment, performing ward rounds, surgical operations (theater), and supervising clinical staff.

Qualification: Degree in Clinical Medicine from a reputable training institution. Registered with the Medical Council of Malawi.

2.  Senior Clinical Technician (Grade J)

Duties: Diagnosing patients, prescribing treatment, performing ward rounds, surgical operations (theater), and supervising clinical staff.

Qualification: Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a reputable training institution.

Should have at least four years’ working experience.

Registered with the Medical Council of Malawi.

3.  Clinical Technician Grade K/ Medical Assistant (Grade L)

Duties: Diagnosing patients, prescribing treatment, performing ward rounds, surgical operations (theater), and supervising clinical staff.

Qualification: Diploma in Clinical Medicine or Medical Assistant Certificate from a reputable training institution. Registered with the Medical Council of Malawi.

4.  Pharmacy Technician (Grade k)

Main Duties: Dispense medicines safely, manage pharmacy stock inventory, and counsel patients on proper drug usage.

Qualifications: Diploma in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Active registration with the Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA) is mandatory. 

5.  Laboratory Personnel (Technician Grade K and Lab Assistants Grade L)

Duties: Sample processing, operating equipment (bench work), checking results, and chemical/reagent inventory management.

Qualification: Diploma (Technician) or Certificate (Lab Assistants) in Biomedical Science/Laboratory Technology. Registered with the Medical Council of Malawi.

6.  Community Health Nurse Midwife Technician (Grade J) 

Main Duties: Monitor and implement comprehensive, high-quality community health and reproductive care services.

Qualifications: Diploma in Community Health Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized college. Must be registered with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi with a valid practicing license. 

Should have at least four years’ working experience.

7.  Community Health Nurse Midwife Assistant (Grade M) 

Main Duties: Monitor and implement comprehensive, high-quality community health and reproductive care services.

Qualifications: Certificate in Community Midwifery from a recognized college. Must be registered with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi with a valid practicing license

8.  Senior Home Craft Worker (Grade L) 

Main Duties: Weigh under-five children, conduct anthropometric assessments, and identify sick or malnourished/underweight individuals. 

Qualifications: A Certificate or Diploma in Nutrition, Community Home Craft Management.

 Should have at least four years’ working experience.

9.  Home Craft Worker (Grade M) 

Main Duties: Weigh under-five children, conduct anthropometric assessments, and identify sick or malnourished/underweight individuals. 

Qualifications: A Certificate in Nutrition, Community Home Craft Management.

 Should have at least four years’ working experience.

10. Artisan( General Fitter)

    .Main Duties: fabricates, assembles, installs, and maintains mechanical equipment and structural components. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using specialized hand

  and power tools, and ensuring machinery operates efficiently while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

    .Qualifications: Certificate in relevant position.

Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chichewa.

Ability to work under minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to support and work within a Christian institutional environment.
